Trinity Park Conservancy

History

Trinity Park Conservancy found themselves unexpectedly without a database manager during the buildout of a new data system and at a critical time in their fundraising efforts.

Organization Goal

Uncover the structure of their new database and related tools. Identify opportunities for optimization and data utilization.

Track15’s Strategy

We identified key areas of their current data systems that were prime for optimization. We implemented new process and procedures for identifying, categorizing, and tracking current and future donors. Track15 spent time working with the team to uncover obstacles. Provided training to current and new team members.

Results

Trinity Park was able to quickly and easily bring their new database manager with little transition issues. They were equipped with documentation on their database structure and related systems, and they had a handbook and training manual for future employees.

Opportunities for Improvement

Distribution of responsibilities at any organization can be a positive thing but Track15 understands the obstacles that nonprofits with limited staff face. In most cases even if only one person holds the responsibility for tasks like database updates, it’s critical that multiple people have access to or at the minimum login credentials for key systems. Maintaining detailed and up to dated operations manuals can help organizations address unexpected staff departures.
