one month countdown

hey folks. it's been a busy week. i haven't been able to start on my next block, so when i start on it on monday (assuming no interruptions), i'll have exactly one month to get it done and verified before i leave for the UK. i better get it fucking done, because i really want to go on this vacation.

today was free lunch today, and i'm glad i went out for lunch; the cafeteria served what looked like crappy mexican food. i met up with some ex-coworkers at choi's, and service was pretty bad. we sat there after we ordered, and it took us forever to get the panchan (small plates). when we asked the waitress when we would get them, she replied in broken english something like, "you'll get them when we give them to you." ?! wtf? she was lucky we even gave her a normal tip. and we didn't get any soup today! but still, ah, korean potatoes. i love that shit.

choi's has really good water. the use this reverse osmosis system called "aqua life," and the water just has this really crisp and refreshing taste. i can't describe it. after all, water doesn't really have a describable taste, but yeah, it's damn good.

so i gotta leave early today. jay, margaret, alan, ting and i are heading over to jeremy and kate's place to see their new baby maggie (margaret). we're bringing them food and stopping by for a short bit. at least, according to the etiquette, that's what we're supposed to do, stay only a short while. now i feel bad for forcing myself upon jeremy and company two weeks ago. hey, i didn't know the etiquette!

and then, i gotta go pick up my cousin S at SJC at 10pm. she said that she had a stressful day, and she wanted a vodka tonic, so i might take her to duke of edinburgh for a drink. i still haven't decided what we're doing this weekend. i might take her to berkeley tomorrow, but if we go, we're BARTing. no way i'm risking my stanford-laden car getting trashed.

tartini with jennie last night was good. she definitely leads a way more interesting life than i do, to say the least. remember that she bought this really cool and sexy blue ted baker dress last week, and she wore it over the weekend. i saw some pictures of it on facebook today, but there weren't any pictures showing the whole thing. she said she'll wear it again when she goes to vegas on an upcoming trip.

tartini was my dinner, but after going home and watching some tv, i got hungry at 10:30pm and went to jack in the box for a sourdough jack (ah, so fucking tasty). i need to stop doing this, eating late at night and then going to bed. but i just can't resist my hunger when i skip dinner.

while i was driving last night on the way to yogurt, the tip of my cigarette broke off and landed on my shoulder. it burned a hole in my t-shirt and hurt like a motherfucker. ouch! damn. that sucks. i like that t-shirt, it's one of my favorites. oh well. that's the risk of smoking while driving, i guess. it would help if i packed my cigarettes like i used to do, but i stopped doing that because i was afraid that the shock of slamming the pack into my hand would break my watch. my last tag heuer watch broke because the crystal inside cracked, and i think it's because of all the shock that i subjected it to (like playing tennis, packing cigarettes, etc.). i love my current yellow tag watch, so i'm not going to do anything to risk it breaking.

cowboys vs. packers this weekend. it'll be a good game. aaron rodgers is shaping up to be a great quarterback, so far in his first two starts. yeah, i gotta remember to look into getting a jason witten jersey.

has anybody ever gone to a bachelor party gone totally x-rated? like, when the stripper-turned-prostitute starts giving the bachelor a blowjob or something? what do the bachelor's friends do? if i were there, i would NOT want to watch. i'd ask them to go into the bedroom or bathroom or something. anywhere but in front of me. what is the standard fare for sex from a prostitute in vegas these days? the last time i heard firsthand it was around $350 or so.

i pee a lot during the weekdays. A LOT. after tartini last night, i had to go, but i had to drive my ass all the way back home. by the time i stepped into my place, my bladder was about to explode. peeing never felt as much like an orgasm in my life. it was so good. i just need to remember to drink more fluids during the weekend. like i said, i am deathly afraid of getting kidneystones. ugh. peeing out jagged rocks. *shiver*

ok. time to leave and get some donuts and head up to redwood city. have a STUPENDOUS weekend folks!
