make it work

so i have a new favorite song. it's ne-yo's "make it work." yes, it's the song that dominic and sabra danced to in their slow hip-hop routine on SYTYCD. last night, i bought it on iTunes, and so far, i've listened to it almost 10 times, including 3 youtube views of the dance. i love it. very pretty song, and awesome routine choreographed by shane sparks. dominic rocks, and sabra's a great dancer as well; i am really happy that she won the competition.

basketball was heartbreaking today. we fought back (4 on 4) to make it 10-10 (we were playing to 11), and on our final offensive possession, i had two point-blank shots at the rim, and i missed them both. ugh. and there was no defensive pressure, either! i just flat out choked. afterwards, i just cursed and flopped on the floor, disappointed that i couldn't make the shots.

the gash on my nose isn't healing very well. not only is it at the spot where my glasses go, but in the mornings, i scratch there instinctively when i wake up. i did it twice today in bed. argh.

so my friend P sent me even more links to horrifying sex acts. i told him frankly that i couldn't bear to watch any (after the 2 girls 1 cup incident and the dildo insertion into the penis hole), and that i was going to delete the e-mail and empty the trash immediately afterwards. he also gave me two youtube links to his 19-year-old sister's reactions to two of the videos, and they were quite entertaining. one reaction was to the worst of the bunch, and judging from her horror, i think it's a good thing i am not going to watch the so-called "pain olympics." *shivers*

last night, i hung out with jennie, who i haven't seen in a few months. we had dinner at pasta pomodoro (yay for gemelli!), and then, we shopped around santana row for a bit. she wanted a book recommendation, and i offered a book that i've recommended (and bought) to/for numerous people: _vox_ by nicholson baker. this entire novel is a single phone sex conversation. yes, it sounds very perverted and very me, but i kid you not, this is a very good book. i've read three of baker's works, and even though i liked _vox_ the best, they've all got very insightful looks into the mundane details of life. (hehe, one of his books is outrageous: _the fermata_ is about this guy who can pause time, and when he does, he takes off women's clothes. it was a birthday gift from k1, which was one of the things that made her awesome. :)

i'm writing this blog entry early because i have a meeting (ugh, more features to be added to our chip, and more work for me), and then i'm leaving to stake out a table at st. john's to watch the cowboys/packers game. mikeT is going to join me, and i'm excited about that; i haven't seen him since his wedding months ago! i am very nervous about the game; the packers look very good, and i'm not sure the cowboys' defense can stop the packers' passing attack. hopefully our pass rush can throw brett favre off kilter and force him to make mistakes. *crossed fingers*

so every year, our company does a gift drive for children in need. basically there are a bunch of cards, each one labelled with a kid and what that kid wants for christmas. i'm thinking about donating cash (maybe $50-$100) instead. i know i can put out the effort and actually buy a present, but i'm afraid i'll buy something that's the wrong color or the wrong model or something, and the kid will be disappointed. one of the cards was for a senior citizen who just wanted "cologne." hm. what kind of cologne would you get an old man? that seems like a risky buy. but anyways, i've been in a giving mood all year long, with all the weddings and stanford calling me every few months, so i'm going to give to the kids this christmas as well.

.....

ok, i just got out of the meeting. *phew* i don't have to do anything! we were discussing this new feature, and we decided to stuff it in some other block in the chip. yay!

anyways, i just had an orgasmic piss. i needed to go during the meeting, but i held it in. i rushed out after it ended, and when i got to the urinal, i felt this familiar expansion of my schlong right before i let out the stream. ahhhh. it felt good to expunge.

ok, i'm going to take off soon. go cowboys!
