so i was e-mailing a friend of mine about anime porn. yeah, i've watched a little bit of the stuff. in fact, my first exposure to porn (aside briefly glancing through a skin mag) was anime style. my friend had a very bad quality VHS tape of some of the stuff, and i have vivid memories of one segment where this older woman was sitting behind this other girl, and she was sliding this violin bow across the girl's clitoris. "interesting," i remember thinking. as i was new to pornography, i didn't really know what to make of it; i don't think i was experienced enough to be turned on.
why don't americans make cartoon porn? why do the japanese have the market dominance in this realm of adult entertainment? hm. one thing that i don't enjoy, though, is the violent/monster form of teh stuff. you know, like the raping/tentacle stuff. i bought a tape of _la blue girl_ a few years ago, and even though i appreciated the fact that it wasn't censored/pixelated, it was just like i described: a lot of forced, monster phallus action. not my cup of tea. but yeah, it is quite an interesting and fascination genre of video.
poor jimmy. a week after we got into a car accident, he got in another one! this one wasn't his fault, though (the girl changed lanes right into his car), but that's not very much of a consolation. man, that sucks. that makes three accidents in one year for him. i resolve to be a more careful driver from now on, and that includes paying more attention while driving (and not looking at my GPS), and smoking and talking on my cell phone less while i'm behind the wheel.
so i've finally started to turn on the heater at my place. sometimes when i get home or get up, it's anywhere from 59 to 62 degrees. yeah, a little chilly. i can usually get by with wearing a jacket indoors, but still, my head and hands get a little cold. and that also means that naked time gets cut down. (no, i haven't had much naked time lately.)
D had a big fall during basketball today. someone undercut his legs when he jumped, and he came crashing down on his hip/ass. it was pretty ugly. i've had that happen to me once before, but i was fine afterwards; i was more shocked by the fall than hurt. *phew* i actually played decently (on offense) today; i scored a good number of baskets. however, on defense, as usual, my play was pretty abysmal. during one game, i had to guard this quick little guy, and he scored a lot of points on me. i just couldn't stop him!
it's interesting how in my dreamland, there are all sorts of venues and history created in my brain that seem so real. like, there are these places that my head has created, and there are these events and people that i have imagined. like, last night, in a dream, i swore i had had sex with this certain person, and when i woke up, i just felt completely 100% real. i was lying in bed awake, and i was debating to myself whether it was true, and i could not convince myself otherwise. dreams are just amazing things. they're like a multiplexed reality.
so things are getting a little crazy at work. the problem with all these people who have left/are leaving is that the people who remain have to take their work over, and the transition of knowledge is never complete. this means that no one left truly understands the other person's legacy stuff, which completely sucks. like, i was asked today how to do this and that on this block that used to belong to an old employee, and i was like, "uh...." ugh. i hate this part of the job. part of me just wants to leave and go to a startup exactly because of this reason; i just want to work on new stuff, and never have to deal with legacy material.
speaking of which, i just got an e-mail saying that one of those legacy blocks failed a test. gotta go look at it now. *phooey*
