google phrase of the weekend:
"i lost the bet and had to give a blowjob"
haha! i hope it wasn't a stranger that you had to blow! first of all, it's crazy to accept this kind of bet in the first place. of course, if it was your boyfriend or something, then that's not an act out of the ordinary, so it's no big deal. but if it's somebody that you're not going out with, than hot damn! make a bet with ME! i'm down with some fellating action! but no teeth! :)
but anyways, when i saw this google hit, i just started laughing out loud. it reminded me of the bet i made with naked girl, when we both lost out weight loss goals and had to give up naked pictures of ourselves. i actually had a lot of fun with my tripod and camera when i took my five pictures, trying to be creative and all. i wonder where she's stashed those prints i made. and i hope they never get out into the open public! (by the way, naked girl has a hot body, that's all i can say.)
it depresses me to know that after the clock adjustment, it'll be dark when i step out of the office today. i hate that part of winter. i mean, november is my favorite month of the year and all (because of thanksgiving and my birthday), but still, i don't like the fact that it gets so dark so early. plus, this morning, the first monday after daylight savings, it got light so early as well! i had trouble sleeping in.
i must thank dishi (the candy connoisseur) for getting me that bag of brach's candy corn. i LOVE candy corn. apparently, he went and bought a shitload of candy at some post-halloween sale, so i asked him to pick me up a bag of candy corn. yum. yeah, it's pure sugar, but it just tastes so good. chewy goodness.
so D had a meeting at 1:30, so we had a 30-minute lunch today. i took him to arby's, where i scarfed down two beef 'n cheddars in like 10 minutes flat. i got such bad food coma that i passed out in my cube for half an hour. why is it that i get food coma for lunch but not dinner? it must have something to do with the fact that it's my first meal of the day. hm.
so i was talking to haruka last night, and she said that she got really bad food poisoning at taqueria la bamba and had to be hospitalized for three days. that's not the first time i've heard of la bamba's food fucking someone up. has anyone else been so afflicted? now i'm scared. i mean, i just had one of their carnitas quesadillas yesterday. fyi, she got the chicken, so maybe it was salmonella? at least the carnitas is grilled before it's put into the tortilla.
so the taiko peeps are raving about daiso, this hyakuen shop that just opened up at the mountain view/palo alto border on san antonio/el camino. apparently, it's a japanese store that has all these cool cheap knick-knacks. i want to go, just to see what all the hype is about.
is anyone out there a fan of DP (double penetration)? has any girl ever had it done to her? how does it feel? it looks very distracting to me. from a guy's perspective, it looks very awkward, sharing close (practically side-by-side) spaces with another guy. and from a girl's point of view (just a conjecture, as i am no woman), i would think it's like getting a massage from four hands instead of just two; it might feel marginally better, or maybe it would be too much stimulation? *shrug* who knows. i'm curious, so ladies, drop me a comment if you've done it before!
thanks to mikeT for the phone recommendation. i didn't see the VX8700 at the verizon store, but i'll have to go check it out. i do have a silver fetish, you know. i have a 4-year-old LG VX6000, and i love it; in fact, i just ordered a replacement battery from amazon, but then again, i will upgrade my phone by next summer when the cell phone driving ban takes effect. (need bluetooth for a wireless headset)
friday night, nelson and i grabbed some thai food at the new dusita (near el camino between wolfe and lawrence). we got the red duck curry and the angry pork. afterwards, i zipped over to los altos and picked up a very pregnant emi, who was in town for a wedding reception.
a couple of taiko peeps then congregated at my place, where we chatted and had root beer ice cream floats, thanks to susan and ray. luckily, i had just enough spoons and glasses to accomodate everyone. around 11pm or so, we dispersed, and i took emi back.
saturday morning, i met up with emi, her mom and barden at sushi house. we had lunch, briefly met up with kara and gabe afterwards outside the restaurant, and then took a nice stroll all around stanford campus. barden showed us all the new buildings that came up recently, mostly around the engineering side. i'm amazed at how much things have changed since i've graduated. we walked quite a bit, and after i got home, i took a nice nap and then watched the oregon/arizona state game. go oregon! they're ranked #3 in the BCS now. i'm hoping ohio state or LSU loses so they can go to the national title game.
for dinner, i met up with paul and leeya at southland. i wasn't feeling the beef noodle soup, so i reverted back to my usual ground pork rice ($3.50). paul wasn't satisfied afterwards, so we roamed around cupertino village at 9pm looking for more food. he eventually settled on a banana/nutella crepe at qcup, and after that, we called it a night and went our separate ways.
sunday, since it was daylight savings, i was really craving sleeping extra-long, but i woke up at 9:30 (adjust time) and wanted to get up. i forced myself to stay in bed for another hour, but then i got up. i went to safeway to pick up my meds, toilet paper and soap, and then went to verizon wireless to see if i could buy a new battery for my 4-year-old phone. unfortunately, they didn't carry them anymore (as expected), so i spent some time browsing new phones. i didn't see any i liked, but i do plan on getting a new one sometime in the near future.
i grabbed a carnitas quesadilla at la bamba and watched the end of the 49ers/falcons game, and then it was time for the game of the day: pats/colts! i was gonna go to paul's place to watch it, but it turns out that they were broadcasting it on CBS, so i just stayed home to watch it. i actually got food coma and fell asleep during certain parts, but still, i powered through it. it was a good game; the colt should have won it, but the patriots were too strong in the 4th quarter, and they won by 4.
then, it was on to the 3rd game of the day: cowboys/eagles. i threw on my cowboys (troy aikman) jersey and watched the first half at my place. then, i went over to hiroshi/joy's place for some of ray's homemade clam chowder extravaganza. there were tons of people there, and i felt a little silly wearing a football jersey, but hey, i gotta support my team. the game wasn't even close, so i was pleased. the chowder was great, and they even had sourdough bread bowls! later, after the meal, i even did a citrus vodka shot with joy and gabe. :)
i know i watched a ton of football this weekend, but the season's half over, and i know i'm going to miss it when it's all said and done. so i'm just going to soak as much of it in as i can, and not regret watching so much. hey, my cowboys are 7-1! big game next week against the 6-2 giants at the meadowlands.
