google phrase of the day: "my girl's farts stink" haha! what a predicament. but farts are fun. one of my ex's used to punctuate her sentences sometimes with her farts. and when we took showers together, she would let one slip, and man, sometimes they really stunk. she wouldn't tell me that she passed gas, and when the steam would rise, something rank would seep into my nose, and i'd be like, "what the HELL is that?!" hehe. hooray for flatulence!
so apparently, there was a decent-sized earthquake last night. i didn't notice it. it must have happened while jeremy and i were driving to the parking spot behind gombei. when we got there, one of their customers was leaving, talking about the earthquake, and we were like, "huh?" it was only later when alan left me a voicemail asking if i was ok that i realized it had happened. i rushed home after dinner to check if any bottles had fallen from my bar onto my tv (luckily, they didn't). this morning, when i got to my cubicle, i noticed some envelopes on my stack of bills had fallen off the top.
about half an hour ago, we just had another one. it was only a 3.7, though. my monitor shook for a bit, and then it stopped. i was like, "cool!" but i shouldn't say that. earthquakes can be scary and devastating. i'm afraid that someday i'll own a house, and it'll be flattened when the next Big One hits. *knocks on wood*
so not a single person dressed for halloween at my company. what spirit! (well, i can't say anything because i didn't dress up, either.) the only time i made a half-assed effort was back at my first company, when i threw on my troy aikman jersey. yeah, lame, huh? startups usually have more inspired employees. i'm going to stop by safeway to buy some candy just in case i get one kid ringing my doorbell. but i don't even know if i'm going to turn on my porch light tonight.
it's getting chilly here. i finally busted out a long-sleeve t-shirt today. i've grown wimpy when it comes to cold weather. i can't believe that my freshman year in college, i wore shorts year-round. and now, i get cold so easily. what happened to my polar bear capability?
last night, i set the alarm an hour early, but that just meant that i snoozed for an hour longer this morning. what's remarkable, though, is that between those 9 minutes in between snoozes, i was able to fall back asleep and have short dreams. does that mean i'm tired? man, i sort of miss my early morning phase; i felt more refreshed and productive back then, especially on weekends. these days, i get up around 11am, and even later on saturdays and sundays. i feel like i don't have mornings anymore, sigh.
i ate some good poo for lunch. (that's short for jun pad poo.) the woman at barn thai knew my order before i even said anything. it was nice and spicy, and it was an awesome culinary experience. the only knock on it was that it didn't have that much crab, but hey, what do you expect for $7.25? it put me in quite a food coma afterwards, though, since it's like 90% noodles.
so what percent of women take dumps when they're having a baby? i heard on one tv show that it's quite high. i mean, you're pushing, right? so it's only natural that while you're pushing a baby out, a dookie would also come out. kinda gross, but also makes sense.
ok, i'm taking off soon. gonna catch the mavericks/cavaliers game. ah, it's nice to have bball back. go mavs!
