another one bites the dust

man. i'm sad. C (not my lunch buddy, but another coworker) just tracked me down just to tell me that he's leaving the company. he's been here for a long time, and he has no more financial interest in the company (no more stock options), so it was time that he struck out to seek his fortune at a startup. so i don't blame him. i will certainly miss him. :(

re: the toilet. trust me, i did my best to flush the toilet paper down. i flushed THREE times, and i held the lever down all the way during all three flushes. but the water just didn't go down! the owner of the house IM'ed me today, and he told me that his roommate has been complaining about the toilet as well. so i guess it needs some repair or something.

i've taken three spicy dumps today. it burns! last night, paul, nelson and i had dinner at pizza chicago. we got the usual: the great chicago fire. this pizza has sport peppers all over it, so i guess that's why my shits have been spicy. on mondays, pizza chicago offers at 25% discount on the entire tab, so our dinner was only $7 (with tax and tip) each. cheap!

last night, when i went upstairs to my bedroom, i spied a huge moth flying around my bedroom. i chased it for a while, but then, it flew straight into my halogen lamp. ZAP! it instantly burned to death, and then, the light bulb started smoking. and then, there was this really foul smell of charred flesh. i immediately turned off the lamp, and i tilted it over to take a look. the moth's head was completely fried off. eww. i opened my windows and doors to air out the place; after i took my shower, my room still smelled horrible. yuck. luckily, the nasty air occupied the top level of the air, and my bed is low to the ground, so when i went to bed, i couldn't smell it.

did they stop making halogen lamps? i haven't seen one in the stores in the last couple of years. i guess they're fire hazards, huh? i've heard many stories of drapes and stuff catching on fire.

so one of my online (female) friends also sleeps naked! that's so cool. i asked her if she shaves her pubes. one of my ex's did that once, and i was so turned on; i just couldn't stop thinking about it. i guess i watch too much porn or something, but i just think shaved vadges look clean and sleek. and plus, pubes don't get in your teeth when you're chowing box. i have long pubes myself (like 2 inches or so), and i've always been meaning to give them a trim, but i'm just afraid of putting something with sharp teeth near my goods, you know?

i'm still drinking one V8 a day; i've been doing this for over a week now. i still can't brace myself for the jolt of the nastiness upon that first sip. it's just so gross! but i'm going to keep doing this because i don't eat vegetables on a daily basis. is there a better version of V8 around? like that "splash" variety?

i think i've gotten off of xanax, as far as it being a sleep aid. usually, i take seroquel at 7:30, and it takes several hours to kick in and make me drowsy. but if i get home late, i take 0.5mg of xanax on top of the seroquel as an added punch to knock me out to make me fall asleep more quickly. well, lately, i haven't been doing that, but i've still been able to fall asleep within half an hour of going to bed. yay! i'm trying to limit the number of medications i take. i've heard that people abuse xanax, so i'm being cautious with how often i take that drug. (i will still use it if i get akathesia or panic attacks, which don't happen that frequently. *knocks on wood *)

so i'm glad that i don't have to lug a suit all the way to hawaii. i'm just going to pack a duffel bag with khakis and a ben sherman short-sleeve buttondown as my wedding outfit. and of course, my $45 reef flip-flops. i still haven't broken them in yet, and paul tells me that they're going to hurt my feet. uh oh! i'm just not used to going out without socks on. i think i'm only going to wear these flip-flops once in my life. and i really hope the airport security people don't confiscate them because they think i'm smuggling liquids or gels in the soles.

ok, time for my 6pm smoke.
