so i'm drinking V8 right now. you know, to get some vegetables in my system. each can is supposedly two servings of veggies, but man, this is some disgusting shit. and it's high in sodium, too. but i'm going to try drinking at least one can a day; otherwise, there are some days when i don't get any vegetables in my diet at all.
so i discovered today that TBS airs episodes of _dawson's creek_ in the mornings! ah, i think i've figured out what i'm going to do before i go into work. right now, they're at the place where pacey and joey have just hooked up and have come back after their summer sailing getaway. the show kind of goes downhill after this (especially when they leave capeside to go to college), but still, it's a fond blast from the past for me, and i just love ogling katie holmes. it's hard to imagine that she's with tom cruise right now, though. ick.
this particular episode that i saw today also had emotional substance for me because it was the one i showed jo-ann years back. jo-ann was this girl from taiko that i was in love with in 2000 or so. i got her hooked on _dawson's creek_, and she came over to watch this episode when i lived in paul's house seven years ago. i remember she got all teary-eyed at the end when pacey and joey made up, and i distinctly remember wanting to kiss her when i saw her all misty-eyed and vulnerable. ah, the memories!
ok, so i finally stepped away from that picture of me in the green abercrombie & fitch jersey and blue oakley's on my facebook profile. i use that picture of me everywhere because i like my smile. but, the pic is like 5 years old, and it's my old hair, so i felt like it wasn't representative of me now, and plus, i was getting shit for it from my friends. so i finally changed it to a photo of me taken by adam last month at tim's bbq. so find me on facebook and check it out!
so football season finally gets underway tonight. i'm excited. i think my cowboys have a good chance of making the playoffs this year again, but i'm worried about terry glenn, our #2 receiver. i know he's on the roster, but i haven't seen him play yet. i think he's injured or something. we were 2-2 in the preseason, but i don't think that means much. as long as tony romo is consistent, i think we've got a chance in every game. after all, we did end indianapolis's win streak last year. go 'boys!
i don't like the look of the new iPod nano. it's too fat. i understand the need for a larger screen to watch videos and stuff, but i really liked the sleekness of the old one. i was waiting for them to come out with a 16GB version of it so i could put my whole music collection on it. oh well, too bad.
i drank milk last night for the first time in several weeks. needless to say, i got major poot-age and a bad stomachache, which resulted in a major sludge-dump. i was doubled over in pain sitting on the toilet, and then it all just came out. ouch! and it smelled really bad. my dumps usually don't have much of an odor because it all just falls right to the bottom, but this time, the sludge was all floaty and stuff. pee-ew!
remind me to not get jack in box's sampler trio ever again. i mean, two of three items (jalepeno poppers and mozzarella sticks) are good, but the bulk of it is the spicy chicken nuggets, and those are neither spicy nor good. yuck. you know what i really miss from the box? their pizza pockets. when i was a teenager, they used to carry them, and they were sooo good. this was like over 15 years ago, and their menu has drastically changed since then. oh well.
ok, that's it for me today. i'm leaving early to get my semi-weekly massage. yay!
