doctor d is back!

i finally, FINALLY, had a good shooting game during basketball. i must have made like seven or so jumpers, although i did blow a point blank bunny layup. it felt good, although my lower back has been killing me for the past few days. it hurts to bend over, and i feel like an old fogie. but still, i shot about 50% from the field today, and that felt really sweet. :) let's hope i can keep it up.

so this ashley ferl girl (the one who was bawling on _american idol_) is getting a lot of press. apparently, she was just crying because she was so happy and excited. hm. i've never had tears of joy before. what does that feel like?

so i spoke too soon about not having diarrhea. after basketball, i had a cigarette, and that turned on a faucet from my sphincter. i rushed to the bathroom, and all this brown water flowed from my ass. sigh. isn't diarrhea bad for you? doesn't it mean that your body can't hold on to water, making you dehydrated?

i'm getting my usual every-other-thursday massage today. hopefully she can make my lower back feel better. if this persists, i might have to make an appointment with my chiropractor, who i haven't seen in well over a year. i don't feel like facing him, because he's going to bug me about that carb-free diet that he was convinced would cure my tourette's. i hate it when people make me feel guilty or pressured.

i pluck my nosehair. i'm sure you all know that already. i've been lucky, because i've never had an ingrown nosehair. how would i deal with that? it's not like i can squeeze it out from inside my nostrils. that would be a pretty tricky problem to deal with, huh? but yeah, plucking hurts, and i get this sort of masochistic rush out of it. sometimes it hurts so much that i start to tear up, haha. but yeah, i've gotten some pretty long ones out before. and they're *thick*, too!

man, i have a headache. i get one every time i play basketball. i'm not sure if it's just dehydration, but i do drink a bottle of gatorade after the games. hm. anyways, i just took some tylenol, so i hope that helps.

so march madness begins again tonight. i'm rooting for all pac-10 teams, and there are three of them in the sweet 16 (ucla, oregon, and usc). all of them have tough games, but then again, all the teams in the sweet 16 are pretty good to have made it this far. this season's tournament has been pretty blah so far, though; there haven't been any big upsets, and there aren't any double digit seeds left in the big dance at this stage.
