man, it's been a bad 24 hours of sports for me. last night, my mavericks lost by 2 points in double overtime to the suns. if dirk nowitzki had made both his free throws with like 15 seconds left in regulation, the mavs would have won the game. but instead, he clanked his first one, and made the second, putting his team up by only 3. then, steve nash made a clutch 3-pointer to tie the game with a few seconds left to send the game into overtime. sigh.
then, this morning, i got up at 9:30 to watch stanford get completely destroyed by louisville. they were down 26 points at halftime, and lost the game by 20. man, that was completely disheartening. they didn't deserve to be in the tournament, it seemed. what a sad way to end the season. but i gotta hand it to the louisville cardinals, they played a great game with awesome defense, and their full court press really rattled stanford early on. so now i'm just rooting for the other pac-10 teams to do well.
speaking of basketball, i took my coworker M to play today. his wife is on maternity leave, so he's freed up from his lunch duties with her for the next few weeks. he did pretty decently, and he scored more points than i did. i was dead tired afterwards, and now i have this nagging headache. i woke up with a funny feeling in my throat, so i hope i'm not getting sick. *fingers crossed*
i had this one dream last night that i had to identify this liquid chemical. (it was purple.) ah, it harkened back to my days of organic chemistry lab. i had to do this back in college. i've forgotten all the terminology, but we had to run tests, look at printouts of the results, and do lookups in these big thick books. luckily, i was able to identify mine. this was back when i was pre-med. yup, i had aspirations of being a doctor, but they were short-lived. i did take all my organic chemistry, but i was never able to fit my bio core classes with all my EE requirements. looking back, i wouldn't have cut it as a doctor; the lifestyle is too hard for my fragile mind and body. plus, i'm very squeamish, and i don't think i would have made it through gross anatomy.
man, i just had the longest liquid dump. i must have been pissing out of my ass for like a good 30 seconds straight or something! there was very little "matter" in the dump; it was all yellow liquid when i looked back. must have been all the gatorade i drank today.
you know what i think is completely unsanitary? a girl giving a guy a blowjob after he's had anal sex with her. i mean, in order to make that safe, does the girl need to get an enema or something? you know, wash out all the bacteria and nasties out of her anal tract? *ponder*
ok, i've completely hit a wall here. i have a nasty headache (tylenol does not seem to be be working), i'm bummed out about stanford losing, and it's time for a smoke. i'm out.
