prelude to march madness

so it's pac-10 tournament craziness. arizona got blown out by oregon, and i've got the gamecast on espn.com on for the cal/ucla game. what a comeback by ucla! i was sort of hoping cal would win so stanford would have a chance to win the whole thing. we'll see tonight, though; it'll be a tough game for stanford to win against usc.

i played basketball again today. man, i suck. i've got a bad case of the butterfingers, and everyone knows it. when i get the ball, i start panicking when people try to strip it from me, and yup, i lost the ball the few times when i had it and the opposition stormed me. oh well. i did make a basket or two, though. it was good exercise.

i'm getting my usual every-other-thursday massage today, and i'm looking forward to it. after that, i'm going home, eating my usual bowl of cereal, and settling down to watch the stanford game. very exciting stuff, hehe. yeah, my life is all about routines. i'm so boring.

yeah, blogbarnacle, the yogurt green tea from tap-ex is like the yogloo drink. that's why i like it. i love yogloo (and related drinks like calpico), so that's why i get it. although, different tap-ex's make it differently. like, the one on montague/capitol has less flavor, and the one off castro in mountain view is much better. i give thanks to mike for recommending it to me.

i had a dream last night that i was preparing for war, and i was about to go fight. and the thought that i was either to going to end someone's life or have my own ended was very scary. i woke up, and i tried to shake off the dream, but i went back into it. very unsettling stuff. i had another cool dream later on about my friend emi, but i've forgotten what it was about. i should document my dreams better. alan and ting gave me an electronic voice recorder for my birthday a few years back. maybe i should put it next to my pillow so i can record my dreams right after i wake up.

did anybody watch _the wedding bells_ last night after AI? i didn't, but it's the brand new show by david e. kelley, and i was wondering if it was any good. i loved kelley's _ally mcbeal_, but my friend william was saying that his specialty is lawyer shows. i don't think this new one is about lawyers at all, but rather about three women who are wedding planners.

so yeah, AI is going to cut down to its final 12 tonight. among the girls, i think haley's going to go. and i really hope antonella gets cut. i do admire the fact that she's holding up after all the controversy (i.e. scandalous pictures) she's been getting, but honestly, she just doesn't sing as well as the other girls. she doesn't deserve to make it to the finals. as for the guys, the only one i really like is chris sligh, although i probably wouldn't buy his cd if he recorded one.

ok, that's it for me today. off to check the score of the ucla/cal game. it's in overtime!
