man, AJ tabaldo got royally screwed on last night's american idol. sanjaya should have definitely got voted off, as should have antonella barba. what the hell is america thinking? jay thinks there is a huge indian american contingency backing sanjaya, and that may well be the case. but anyways, i do like sanjaya, but i just think he is really underperforming. i really like AJ, though; his performance of "feeling good" was pretty cool. and sundance is a softie! he kept crying as the contestants were voted off. who knew.
i'm so glad it's friday. this week sort of crawled by. monday went by fast, because i was debugging this test, but the rest of the week was pretty slow because i didn't have that much to do. like i said, i'm mostly done with my tasks for this upcoming chip's tapeout, so i've been chilling, supporting some stuff here and there.
did you bay area peeps feel the earthquake last night? it happened at 8:40pm, right smack during AJ's farewell performance. they cut away from american idol for a newsbreak, reporting a 4.something quake with its epicenter in lafayette. i felt two big jolts in the house, like someone grabbed the place and shook it violently twice. lucky, that was the extent of it, and nothing cracked or anything.
so it looks like jay and margaret aren't coming back to the bay area when he finishes his facial plastics stint out in alabama/florida. bummer. he did have an option to work in santa rosa, but i think the job out there sucks. it looks like he's leaning towards seattle, arizona, or new york. oh well. it looks like i'll just have to take some trips out there to see him. i miss jay.
last night's episode of _scrubs_ was EXTREMELY disappointing. there was no plot at all; it was simply a amalgamation of random clips from seasons past. it looks like the writers had absolutely no new ideas, and they decided to take a day off and do a rehash episode. BOO ON THAT. i am liking scrubs less and less. if you watch the old episodes, you'll see how brilliant the show used to be. and now? it's just a mere shadow of what it once was.
the other morning, i had another bubbly dump. it was so bubbly that i had shit water all over my ass. when i wiped, i got it all over my left hand (the one i use to wipe), which reeked of turds. it was pretty gross. i am suspecting that my diarrhea is due to my topamax med, and i did a google search of "topamax diarrhea" today. it seems like it's a possible side effect, although it's more prevalent among kids who take the drug, not adults. hm.
so it doesn't look like i'll be able to sleep in this weekend. tomorrow, i'm going to get up (relatively) early to watch the stanford/arizona game. sigh. this is the last game of the regular season, and it just flew by. stanford did decently this year, and i'm proud of our young team. and sunday, i'm getting up even earlier to have coffee with jennie before heading on over to dynasty for dim sum with the bowling gang.
do you guys have recurring dreams? recurring places? i've already talked about recurring dreams like being back in high school or college and stuff like that, but what's also interesting is that there are certain made-up places that keep reappearing in my dreams as well. it's kind of cool that my mind creates these fantasy venues, like bus stops, dorms, buildings, etc.
ok, well, that's it for this week. have a great weekend folks!
