let's see here... friday night, we had dinner at this place called el amigo burrito. my carnitas burrito wasn't very good, but the margaritas were very strong. i could taste the tequila very distinctively, and after two glasses, i felt a little funny.
saturday, i had lunch with nelson at denny's. afterwards, we joined paul, leeya and aimee for some shopping. we went to the great mall, walmart and petsmart. i bought a first birthday gift for alan and ting's dog, rylie. i hope she likes it. for dinner, a big group of us (8 of us) had seven courses of beef at this vietnamese place in milpitas. i'm not a fan of the food, though.
sunday, peter and i braved the crowds at valley fair and santana row. peter was looking for a messenger bag for his mom, and our best bet was at urban outfitters in santana row. he couldn't find one he liked, so we left empty handed. it was good to see him, and i hope he comes back this summer when he finishes up his general surgery residency at stanford.
for dinner, i went over to john's to try out his new batch of chili. it wasn't as spicy as i had hoped, but it was still good. we watched some tv, and then i went home.
monday, i watched a lot of sports. first, i watched the lakers/heat game. i was rooting for the lakers, but apparently kobe had the flu or something. wade had a monster game, with 40 points. then, i watched my beloved cowboys stink it up against the eagles, who played very well. for dinner, i met up with some folks at southland, where i got my usual (ground pork over rice). afterwards, we were supposed to meet up at tap ex in mountain view, but i drove there first and found out that it was closed. oh well.
it's been a pretty slow day today. i haven't seen anyone, just been watching a lot of espn. the power went out today, as i was typing this entry, so it's been a pain typing it out all over again. i have one more day tomorrow until i leave for LA. i'm excited to see my family.
ok. back to my tv. see ya!
