resignation

sigh, i'm back at work. i got a call from an ex-coworker of mine (who apparently knows all the company rumors) and was informed that i will soon have another ex-coworker. that probably ruined my entire week. ick. i hate having good friends leave my company. also, another one of my lunch buddies is applying to grad school, so that means once he gets in, he'll leave as well. *RAAR*

i am definitely getting a haircut today. i haven't had one in two months, and that's a really long time for me. my hair is a fucking mess. i even wore an old raggedy t-shirt today in anticipation of getting a haircut. it's about time.

i cannot seem to get a nice solid dump. today's was no different: explosive diarrhea-like, and lots of little squiggly turds in the toilet. i wonder what it is. am i eating too much fiber or something? could it be the herbal supplements i take? hm.

i am very happy about my cowboys being in first place in the NFC east. the giants (division rivals) were up 21-0 to the lowly titans, but man, the titans stormed back with 24 unanswered points, all in the 4th quarter. amazing comeback, much to my excitement. there are two games left that the cowboys play that i'm worried about: at the giants, and at home against the saints, who seem to be playing awesome.

so i heard that the latest bond girl, eva green, takes it all off in some other movie, so i googled her and found naked pictures of her. she's got big areolas! i'm not fond of big nipples like that. tiny ones aren't good, either. i like medium-sized areolas with a nipple that's a good enough size to be pinched and chewed on. :)

so pink (the singer) does the intro song for sunday night football. i think she's pretty heinous-looking. and the black dress she wears shows off her nasty cleavage; her breasts are too far apart, and that looks pretty bad. they're like aboriginal boobs. ick. sorry, i think i'm talking too much about breasts here.

so _scrubs_ is finally making its comeback this season! i can't wait. thursday nights are packed, as far as tv goes: survivor, the office, scrubs, and the OC. i think i'm going to tape the two NBC shows and watch survivor and the OC back to back. the one videotape i have is getting worn; the case is cracked, and alan had trouble ejecting it out of his VCR when he borrowed it over the weekend. do they still sell videocasettes? where can i get one? fry's?

speaking of fry's, i heard that on the friday after thanksgiving, they were selling 32" LCD tv's for under $500. i should have gotten one. damn. that's cheap!

ok, that was a quick blog entry for me. no writer's block. ok, back to work!

thanksgiving break

man, thanksgiving break flew by.

wednesday night, paul, leeya, nelson and i had a quick dinner at barn thai in sunnyvale. the food was decent, but nelson didn't like it. i just go there for a jun pad poo fix; barn thai is the only place besides krung thai that has it.

thursday, i woke up and got a quick lunch at jack in the box (sausage breakfast jack and a hash brown). then it was off to alan's mom's house in walnut creek. we hung around a bit, watched the cowboys beat the bucs (tony romo threw FIVE touchdowns!), and then had a massive thanksgiving feast. there was so much food that we barely dented it. i didn't eat much, thanks to my ever-shrinking stomach.

friday, we went to this shanghai-nese restaurant and had lunch. then, we went to downtown walnut creek, which was swarming with people. we watched _casino royale_, which i didn't like. it was too long, too convoluted, and i got lost in the plot. i did think eva green was sort of attractive, though. but over all, i didn't enjoy the movie. afterwards, i drove back to mountain view and joined some people at tap ex for some chatting over pearl drinks.

saturday, nelson, john and i had lunch/brunch at los gatos cafe. man, they have the biggest omelets. after hanging out at john's place afterwards for a bit, we decided to go play tennis. !! i hadn't played at all this year, and we didn't change, so i played in jeans and not even athletic shoes. we even had to go buy a can of balls. cheng joined us, so we had a foursome. my groundstrokes were decent, but we only hit for an hour or so before it got too dark and i had to leave.

after i got home, alan and ting picked me up, and it was time to go to oedo in fremont/union city for my real birthday dinner with jack, amy and anthony. they brought a chinese birthday cake, and it was a good time. throughout the day, i got e-mails and phone calls from people telling me happy birthday, and it was nice that people remembered. i felt loved, and that was a good feeling. :)

sunday was a nice relaxing day. i went over to nelson's to see the 49ers barely lose to the rams, and then we joined mikeC for lunch at the prolific oven in the rivermark. and then we proceeded to watch even more football, until it was dinner time. geoff came over, and then we had dinner at pho nam. and that was the end of the weekend. it felt a little short, but at least i was doing something most of the time. and that was a good thing. :)
