so last night's game was sort of boring. stanford still won, by about 20 points or so, so that was good. but i don't think we looked very good. the best play was this monstrous fast break alley-oop from mitch johnson to robin lopez; that was pretty fucking awesome, igniting the crowd to a frenzy. we'll see how good we really are when pac-10 play starts.
i did get to ride in cindy's new lexus sc-430. that car is pretty sweet. the v8 was very smooth, very powerful. fancy! we left the game with 4 minutes left to beat the crowd. cindy was good company, as always. we both love stanford with all our hearts.
so the topamax isn't really helping my tics at all. i'm 75% on my way to the full dosage, but there haven't been any effects. hm. by the next time i see my psych, i'll be one month on the full dosage, so we'll see what he'll say. maybe i'll have to increase the meds. i'm not getting any of the side effects (memory loss and tingling in the extremities), so at least that's a good thing so far.
after i got back from game last night at 10:30, i took my seroquel (my sleep aid). that stuff takes a couple hours to really work, so by midnight or so, i still wasn't getting any closer to falling asleep. so i popped two xanax, and before i knew it, i was conked out. that shit is strong!
for lunch, C and i went to spice islands. it was abnormally busy. i got the chow kueh teow (what else?), and it was pretty good. a little burnt, but still good. i'm still burping it up as i type this. it's pretty much 100% carbs, with a little egg and shrimp, so when i came back, i was really sleepy. but yeah, that's my favorite singaporean/malaysian dish.
i'm going to watch the finale of _dancing with the stars_ tonight. dallas great emmitt smith is one of the final two! (mario lopez is the other finalist.) i love emmitt. he carried the load for dallas during its three super bowl seasons (and many other seasons), and he's just a great guy overall. i want to see him shake his booty! :)
my cowboys play the colts this weekend. i'm really scared. the colts are undefeated at 9-0 for the second straight season (the only team in the NFL to ever do that), although they are definitely fallible this season. i won't even get to follow the game live because i'll most likely be at the 49ers/seahawks game (pending rain) at candlestick. i'll keep my fingers crossed for them.
so another block of mine works in our new chip. :) this part takes certain colors and makes them richer. for example, it takes green grass and makes them greener, and blue sky bluer, etc. i am proud of myself. that's part of the joy of working in the video industry. you get to see your blocks work directly, i.e. on a television screen.
