friday night, jen, nelson, mikeC and i had dinner at korea house. afterwards, we went to fantasia at the rivermark to grab pearl drinks before heading over to paul's place to watch satellite tv. he gets porn! but instead of porn, we watched the ending of _doom_ and the ending of _walk the line_, a movie that nelson raves about.
saturday, i ran some errands (dry cleaners and safeway) and had a late lunch at california noodle with john and cheng. i called jeremy and emi and talked to the two of them for a while; jeremy's moving out here november 1st! i'm so fucking excited to know that he and kate will be in the bay area again.
i didn't have any social contact for the rest of the day; i just watched some college football, took a nap, and watched some more tv before going to bed.
sunday was joy and hiroshi's sushi rolling/deep fryer party. i bought twinkies and oreo's to deep fry, but i left before we got around to that. then, i met up with alan and ting at mercado to watch _the departed_. i didn't like the movie, and i didn't like the ending either.
after getting out of the movie at 7:30, i met up with nelson at chili's. he got the country fried steak (an awesome entree), and i got the triple play. it was too my deep-fried food, but it was still decadent and good. i also tried bushmill's whiskey, and it wasn't bad, although it was a bit too smooth for my taste. they gave me a lot of it (like two shots worth) for $6.75, so i thought it was a good deal. it did give me a headache, though.
and that was it for this weekend. i wish i had done more on saturday, but sunday was decent.
