hey people. i'm happy that my cowboys toasted the texans yesterday. terrell owens caught 3 touchdowns, so that at least should shut him up for a little while.
last night, i scratched the bottom of my foot so hard that i got a blister. i popped it this morning, and luckily it doesn't hurt when i walk. foot injuries must suck.
my coworker N and i went to have mongolian bbq today. while it was kind of good, i didn't get nearly the satisfaction that i used to, back when i loved the food. after lunch, N drove all the way from santa clara to castro street just for the hell of it. according to him, he likes driving for no reason; it lets him get away from thinking about work.
i came to the office today and saw that they cleaned everybody's whiteboard. while i'm happy that mine finally got cleaned, what if i had important stuff on there? they didn't even ask or give us a warning. weird, huh?
i'm going to the 49ers/seahawks game in november. i'm worried that it'll rain, as the rainy season in the bay area is upon us. i would imagine it must be miserable to sit there all wet and stuff. i have a waterproof jacket i could use, but maybe i should go out and get waterproof pants and shoes as well.
last night, i had a bad dream. i can't remember the nitty gritty details, but basically i had a big fight with one of my ex-roommates, paul. just before i woke up, i clearly remember punching him in the face. :( i don't like confrontational dreams.
so it looks like i won't be getting a temporary roommate after all. he e-mailed me and said that he's going to crash with a friend of his in fremont. however, i'm thinking that the commute is going to piss him off (he'll have to take the dumbarton bridge to and fro), so he still might end up rooming with me in the end. we'll see. i was sort of looking forward to it, too.

friday night, nelson, mikeC, alvin and i had dinner kapp's pizza in downtown MV. the pizza was pretty bad; it was bland and not tasty at all. i'm not going there again. afterwards, we had pearl tea at tap-ex and talked about buying real estate.
saturday, a whole bunch of us taiko alum hung out for the entire day. we started with brunch at the original pancake house in los altos, then headed over to the crafts fair at the palo alto buddhist temple. after that, we went to tower records to check out their going out of business sale. i bought two cd's for $50 (they were limited edition releases by the pet shop boys and saint etienne).
then, it was off to berkeley to watch the on ensemble concert. we wandered around town for a bit before the concert, and had dinner at ryowa ramen. word has it that they were ranked #1 in the bay area, but i found the broth to be weird and the noodles to be tasteless. i didn't like it too much.
the concert was great! it was thoroughly fun to watch, especially the fast pieces with excellent amazing stickwork. on ensemble is one of the best taiko groups out there, so be sure to see them if they're ever in the area. i'm biased, of course, because i played with two of their four members.
sunday, alan, ting and i spent the whole day out. first, we went to gilroy to check out some outlet stores. ting had a credit at coach, so we went there first. later on, we hit banana republic and ann taylor. they brought their cute dog rylie, so it was fun to play with her while we waited for others to finish up shopping.
after gilroy, we went to santa cruz to a dog beach and watched rylie play with all the other dogs. it was sort of chilly, though, as we got there pretty late.
after we got back, i headed home just in time for sportscenter. my cowboys thumped the texans, and terrell owens scored three touchdowns, so at least he should be happy and not ranting and raving like he usually does. one more week of peace, i guess.
