hey people. cheer up, it's friday! so my friend J told me about katharine mcphee's "wardrobe malfunction" on american idol. apparently, they got some panty shots of her. i was disappointed to find that out. i was hoping that one of her boobs popped out or something. i really like katharine. i think she's got a beautiful face. plus, she can sing, too.
i had to tape the OC last night because i had dinner with alan. we went to red robin, where we both got the royal red robin burgers. they're good! they come with bacon and this fried egg inside. yum. i also ordered a johnnie walker black on the rocks (my alcohol with meal trend continues), and it wasn't worth it. don't get it. they only give you a smidgeon of stuff, and it cost me $6.49. total ripoff.
during lunch today, we talked about going up to random girls and eventually asking them for their phone number. i've only done that once in my life. it was in japan, and i was drunk off of whiskey. there was this cute japanese girl talking to some of my friends, so i walked up, started talking to her, and the next thing i knew, she was giving me her digits. her name was mieko, and she was definitely cute. mieko. hm. i wonder what she's doing now.
otherwise, i'm too shy and insecure (fear of rejection) to chat up random stranger girls. i haven't been to a party up in the city for years now. man, those times seem really distant. back in the day, we'd go to element parties, drink, and dance. *nostalgic* but now, i'm 30, and i most likely will never do that again.
the weather outside has been beautiful! i hope we've seen the last of the rain. my only complaint, though, is that it's been hot in my bedroom, which is on the 2nd floor. it's probably due to me going to bed so early (like at 7:50 or so), and i haven't given the room a chance to cool down after the sun sets.
this weekend, i have plans at night already. saturday night i have a birthday party to go to, and sunday, i have taiko commitments. as for the day, i don't know what i'm doing yet. i think since my tics are so bad, i might just take the days off and chill by myself. you know, lie on the futon and watch some basketball or something. i really need to get my tics in order, because i'm not going to be able to tolerate it for much longer. *sobs*
a few minutes ago, i was having a smoke downstairs. one of the other guys who smokes came up and talked to me. he asked me about my tourette's. i was sort of happy and flattered that he brought it up. i don't mind talking about my TS, and it makes me very glad that people are aware of the disorder. i am willing to educate to all who are interested. it's the people who think i'm a freak that bum me out.
anyways, i'm gonna wrap this up early. i'm going home. i have one more test to write, and i'm going to save it for next week. until then, have a GREAT weekend folks!
