stripper friend

whuzzup peeple.

yesterday at dim sum, i was asked the question of whether it would be uncomfortable to watch a friend (who was a stripper) dance. i thought it would be pretty cool. seeing her naked wouldn't change our relationship. i've seen various nipplage of some of my female friends, and i never thought differently of them, except that maybe they become sexier in my book. nakedness is awesome!

i washed a heavy load of t-shirts and stuff yesterday. i also threw in my burnt orange/beige puma jacket. now it's pristine, clear of any gatorade spots. *cheer* i love that jacket. in fact, i have *three* puma jackets, and i would get more if i could. puma rocks my socks.

so mike reported that he found a great indian buffet place. now, i'm tempted to try it. we always go to sneha (now known as grand indian buffet), and it's getting old. and they don't serve chicken makhani nor bhindi (okra) masala, so it's always disappointing to go there. now i gotta try this new place, shagun. it's by the san jose airport.

the only problem with indian buffets is that i get major food coma. the sauces are pretty heavy, so the one thing i want to do after i finish is take a nice long nap. :)

i am very forgetful. yesterday, before heading to alan and ting's, i was in charge of buying salad, so i stopped by my local safeway and got some. i also got a half gallon of milk for myself, as i usually eat cereal for dinner if i don't have any plans. the problem is, i left the milk at their house. shit. now i have to go over there and get it back. stupid, forgetful me.

i think i'm dumb and shallow now. i find myself with nothing to say a lot of the time, even when i'm amongst friends. and that bothers me. i used to be this crazy, loquatious guy, and now, i'm all boring. what the hell happened? i used to pride myself on being a great conversationalist, and now i'm just a big old dud. hm. i need to fix this somehow, but i don't know how to go about doing it. maybe i just need more practice? hm.

i like the acoustic erasure album (entitled _union street_) a lot. i know, it's almost blasphemy to hear erasure without its trademark synthesizers, but the album is actually pretty cool. there are guitars and strings (sometimes), and it showcases the vocals by andy bell. quite refreshing, i think. it helps if you've heard the originals, i think. i give it a thumbs up.

have you ever had a friend that you just wanted to nail? as in sex? a few years ago, i was very sexually occupied with one of my female friends. i kept on imagining us having sex (usually doggie style, fyi), and it was sort of frustrating because nothing could have ever happened. (she was taken.) she was a very sexy beast, by the way. hot!

sometimes i think sex ruins relationships. i mean, without sex, you're forced to talk or cuddle or bond in other non-sexual ways, but once you do it, you're hooked. there was a time, in an old relationship, where we didn't speak a single word to each other during a meal. we just had nothing to say. and that saddened me, and our relationship fizzled out soon after that because we just weren't connecting in any way except sexually. so beware out there!

anyways, i'm tired. tired from ticcing. i just want to go home and lie down. have a nice day!

pleasant

i had a good weekend. got 12 hours of sleep both nights, and still did stuff.

friday night, nelson, geoff, mia and i met at the sonoma chicken coop. we got beer and food, and afterwards, we roamed around the streets of downtown san jose. i'm not really familiar with the place, so it was cool to see what stuff was out there. there was this small standalone urban clothing store (i think it was called circle a), and they had some pretty sweet stuff. nelson bought a jacket on the spot (since he was cold), and it was a pretty nice jacket at that.

saturday, nelson and i got brunch (sausage, eggs and pancakes) at the original pancake house. after that, we went back to his place and listened to some music. i told him about the acoustic erasure album (called _union street_), and he downloaded it friday night. i got the cd in the mail that day, and it was pretty good!

after that, i met up with jimmy, sabrina, cheng and josh at AMC mercado for some dinner and a movie. well, i bailed out of the movie (_american dreamz_) because i didn't want to see it, but at least i had dinner with them at tomatina. i got the spaghetti and meatballs, but i was disappointed with the dearth of sauce. i like my spaghetti to be drenched in marinara sauce.

sunday, a whole slew of us got dim sum at dynasty in vallco. the food was mediocre, but the company was nice. we got like six orders of shao long bao, and it just didn't compare to HC dumpling. oh well. in the end, we got a ton of food, and it only cost us $14 person. afterwards, mike, geoff and i got pearl milk tea at verde and chatted a bit.

i went home, and watched the two hours of _alias_ i taped wednesday night. i dunno. the show is really lame now. and no one ever dies on the show! vaughn gets machine gunned, but it turns out he's alive. jack shoots irina in the head, and it turns out she was a clone. it's all very stupid. all i got it 5 episodes left, and i can wash my hands of this show.

for dinner, i headed to alan and ting's place for a puppy play date with jay and margaret's dog. i bought some pre-made salad, and jay brought over some pork chops to be grilled. we also had hot dogs, french bread, and the best: tator tots! i fucking love tator tots.

so yeah, it was a good weekend. i even snuck in some mini naps in the afternoon between meals. and i also caught some NBA action, as the playoffs started on saturday. yep.
