man, i've been debugging for a few hours now. very intense. i found a really nasty bug in my code, and at first i was hesitant to fix it (i.e. leave it for tomorrow), but in the end, i just did it. it was quick and painless. but still, we've got more bugs, and the end is nowhere in sight. sigh.
so goodbye to bucky covington from american idol! i'm surprised that he lasted so long. but next week, i'm rooting for ace to get kicked off the show. his rendition of queen's "we will rock you" was pretty bad. next week is rod stewart week. should be interesting.
today, i had an early lunch with my cousin S, who is a lawyer and had to fly in from LA to present a case or something. it was good catching up with her; we used to be very close when we were kids. i teased her about marrying her boyfriend, who she's been seeing for like 6 years now. isn't SIX years a long time? i'd be wondering what was up with our relationship if i ever went that long and wasn't getting married.
we went to gombei (in SJ japantown), and man, as much as i love gombei and think that this is my favorite restaurants, my lunch just wasn't very tasty. i think i wasn't hungry or something, or i waited too long to eat my fried shrimp piece, and it was cold by the time i got to it (i was saving it for last). but yeah, usually gombei is very satisfying, but i just didn't find it so today.
the weather is finally nice out here. supposedly, there's a storm brewing for the weekend, but i'm enjoying the sun while i can. i'm even without a sweatshirt today. it was nice and warm! *cheer*
how does the sponge work? i was watching seinfeld the other day, and one of the subplots was elaine and susan's fondness for the sponge as a contraceptive device. how big is a sponge. do you just insert into your vadge before sex? how does that block out all the little sperm flying about? hm.
these days, they have amazing birth control. i think one of them (seasonale) only gives a girl a period every few months. that must be cool. imagine not having to deal with the cramps, the stained underwear, and the general ickiness of bleeding from the inside.
i've had sex while the girl was on her period. i dunno, though. it doesn't let me give head (unless i want to lap up stinky blood, ick), and it just feels a bit weird. not to mention the blood on the schlong and the sheets and stuff. it's just a big old mess! but sometimes, when you're horny, you'll do anything, i guess that's what i'm saying. :)
i still have twin sheets that i used freshman year in my dorm. they have a HUGE bloodstain on it from k1. she was very embarrassed, though, so much so that she broke down in tears after flicks (the weekly sunday movie) outside memorial auditorium. i didn't get it; she was sort of a basketcase, i guess.
