the return of W

*yawn* what's up people. i don't have much to say today. it's monday, and i fucking hate mondays. *pukes*

so my coworker buddy W is back from his trip from china! i just spent the last hour with him looking through his 1000+ pictures. seems like he had an interesting trip, despite having a bout of diarrhea. what is it with third world areas and diarrhea? that must suck, having to look for a bathroom every few minutes because your ass is spewing stuff. ick.

i might have a new show to watch. mike suggested one of his favorite shows, _how i met your mother_. i'm gonna check it out tonight. it stars alyson hannigan of _buffy_ fame, and i LOVE her. i just think she's the cutest. and she has red hair, too! and you know what that means: she has red pubes! fire crotches rule!

yeah, i have a thing for redheads. but the best hair of all is black. i love shiny, straight, black, silky hair. it's a real turn-on. that's why i ask my asian friends why they dye their hair. don't! (fyi, i bleached my hair in college. i had blue hair for a while. but that was just a phase.)

skype rules. i get to talk to my mom (in taiwan) for free. my dad used to buy phone cards for us to use, but now, i just log on skype, click her name (if she's on), and bam! instant conversation. it certainly makes our lives easier, and cheaper. i think my mom really racked up the phone bill last month calling my brother in UCLA.

man, the weather here is all wonky. today, it poured when i came to work, got all sunny, rained again, and now it's sunny again. (btw, i saw a rainbow over the weekend). i am looking forward to when the rain goes away completely. yuck, i hate the rain.

i had a dentist appointment today. the hygienist was a new girl, and while cleaning my teeth, she made these cute noises, not unlike a young baby babbles to himself. i was turned on by that. not sexually, but it made my experience (i normally hate going to the dentist) a little more interesting.

does anyone out there floss daily? i tried it once (just once), and it didn't feel good. i don't like flossing, which is why i get a lot of tartar buildup in my lower teeth. and on top of that, i have to go in every four months instead of six. hm.

so while W was showing me his china pictures, he told me that ate both silkworms and these black bugs he called "cockroaches." ick. i don't think i could ever eat an insect. that would be one of my many downfalls on a show like _fear factor_. bugs! they're not food! i don't care how much protein is in insects, i'm still not going to eat them.

ok, i know this is short, but i'm out of blogging steam. see ya!

eat, sleep, repeat

didn't do a whole lot this weekend. just meals and naps.

friday night, i met up with nelson and mikeC for dinner. we were supposed to go to chili's, but the wait was half an hour, so we went to spoons (fair oaks and el camino) instead. i don't think the other two liked their food, but i got the buffalo chicken melt, and it was grand. it reminded me the times when yuji and i used to watch stanford basketball games at the spoons bar.

saturday, i drove up to foster city for dim sum with mallory. in the end, our bill was a grand total of $14. yeah, we didn't eat much, but we got our favorites there, so it was all good.

i went home and took a 3-hour nap. then, i called up my old college friend jeremy and talked for about half an hour. then, i met up with nelson and geoff at the palo alto fish market for dinner. the occasion was to celebrate both of them getting new jobs. i got the fish and chips, which were a bit weird because the fish was served in a sort of a cutlet style, flat and flaky. afterwards, we headed over to paul and leeya's house to hang out for a bit.

sunday, i had lunch with naked girl J. we had thai food at krung of krung on castro, but neither of us were very hungry, so we had leftovers. i love pad see ew. and once again, i went home and took a nap. i LOVE napping, and now that the baseball season has started, all i have to do is tune into a game, lie down, and close my eyes.

for dinner, four of us went to southland taste in cupertino village. you can't beat the $3.25 simmered ground pork over rice. yummy fucking good. we hit fantasia afterwards, and then i went home. and bam! the weekend was over.

i need to get out more. i love eating with friends (and i've been ordering alcohol for about half my meals, which may be a reason why i've been gaining weight), but i gotta find stuff to do during the afternoon. i can't sleep my life away!
