so last night, i watched vienna teng perform on KTEH, one of the public tv stations in the bay area. wow, she's really getting big! as usual, i enjoyed her music immensely, although i think her hair looks better when it's not tied back so much. and, i might add, i watched her when i was naked in bed. nothing like watching some cool tv without any clothes on. :)
the coolest thing about watching a vienna teng concert is that she always has nice stories about each of her songs. i was astounded to learn that she's written over 100 songs so far! plus, i'm sure she can just pull each song out of her ass and play/sing it well. that's quite an amazing filing system she must have in her cranium; i sure as hell wouldn't be able to remember 100 taiko songs, and that's just rhythms and stuff (no melody)!
i'm excited. in 12 minutes, we get to have ice cream! lately, i've been eating a lot of ice cream sandwiches at home; i get the lucerne cookies and cream sandwiches, and they're pretty fucking good. so much for my diet!
for lunch today, william and i met up with kevin in sunnyvale to have lunch. kevin is an ex-coworker who i dubbed "the rabid wolverine" because of his intense play on defense during basketball.
as exhibited at lunch today and when meeting up with M this past weekend, i realize that i fizzle out a lot in social situations. what i mean is that at first, i'm talkative and social, but after a while, i just get really quiet. i blame the tics; it's like there's the initial interest at first, which makes me forget about my TS, but after a while, the tics become inevitable, and i start to worry about them, and that's why i go silent. *sigh* TS is really a thorn in my side! *RAAR*
tomorrow night, jen is organizing a bowling gang trip to a new brazilian bbq joint in palo alto. for those of you who don't know what that is, it's an all-you-can-eat meal where these brazilian cowboys carry meat around on huge skewers, and you get to try all sorts of roasted meats. i went to one in dallas (fogo de chao) one time, and it was glorious. i just hope this place in PA serves up some tasty stuff; the dinner is sort of steep, at $27 a pop. so it better be good!
so no one wants to share a loss-of-virginity story? phooey!
i've got e-mail piling up in my inbox. i have like 6 e-mails at least to write, so if you've written me recently, don't worry! soon you will have a reply!
ok! two minutes until ice cream! *huzzah*
