the company lunch today was chinese food, apparently catered from china stix. i had an overdose of the honey walnut prawns, which were good when i had my first piece, but eventually got disgusting. sigh. diminishing marginal returns, that's what i say!
so tomorrow, i'm driving up to the city to meet up with M. she's a new acquaintance, introduced to me by my buddy at work, W. we're just going to have lunch at crepe vine, and that's that. it'll be nice to chat with a new friend. :)
i love crepes. i used to have them all the time when i was in paris. crepes with apricot jelly (confiture). *bliss* i would make them myself, but it's very hard to do it the right way with a pan. speaking of which, i lost my crepe pan. *sniff*
so the new _deuce bigalow_ movie for ZERO stars from ebert. wow, he must have really hated it for him to not even bestow one measly star upon the movie. i recently saw parts of the original on tv a few nights ago. the girl with tourette's was funny ("crap muncher!"), although her portrayal was a bit skewed toward the rarer, copralia style of tourette's.
speaking of tourette's, i really liked they way they portrayed the tics on _ally mcbeal_. anne heche did a very good job with it. *applause* and man, i miss that show. i really like the character of john cage. i also thought calista flockheart was adorable, until she got all waifish and stuff. i really hate it when attractive actresses (like jennifer aniston) get all skinny; being rail thin is not the point!
did any of you get caught with porn by your parents? i remember back in high school when .jpg's and .gif's of naked girls were all the rage. and i remember my mom catching me looking at them on the home computer. *laughs* i was so embarrassed! and she must have been completely horrified. she made me erase the files, but with the trusty norton utilities, i un-erased them in a jiffy afterwards.
and nowadays, pictures of naked girls do nothing for me. i can't get off just looking at them anymore. you could say that my taste in porn is much more demanding now.
*yawn* i'm tired. at least i got good sleep last night, after the night of falling asleep at 3am. i was out by 10pm this time; the previous night's insomnia must have made me really tired.
